Development Intern
Attend staff meetings, events, local workshops, and assist with and mentoring youths during residencies.
Attend out of town workshops when we can arrange your transportation and your schedule allows.
Meet with Director, President, and other future staff members on a regular basis, at least one time per week.
Assist in setting up, organizing, researching, and maintaining emails lists:
• Donors;
• Friends and participants;
• Sponsors;
• Potential leads.
Research grants, funding opportunities, and sponsors, organize them into spreadsheets and bring them to the attention of the Director.
Prepare various mailings, blasts, and social media campaigns.
Design promotional materials such as brochures, emails, flyers, etc.
Assist with webdesign and maintenance.
Skills required: Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, Google Drive, Horde, WordPress, Cornerstone, Foundation Directory Online, Publisher, Constant Contact, We Transfer.
Other administrative duties that may arise.
